Fast library scan
Recursively walks your folders and extracts tags and embedded cover art. Missing tags are backfilled from filenames and folder layout.

Broad codec support
FLAC, ALAC, WAV, MP3, AAC and Vorbis all decode through Symphonia, so lossless and lossy libraries play side by side, untouched.

A serious DSP chain lives in the audio engine — feed the DAC untouched, or shape, correct and level the signal exactly how you like.
Bit-perfect / exclusive output
A separate output engine bypasses the OS mixer to drive your DAC at each track's native sample rate and deepest format — no resampling, no volume, no DSP. On Linux, an ALSA hw: device takes exclusive hardware access.
10-band graphic EQ
ISO octave bands from 31 Hz to 16 kHz, ±12 dB, with a preamp and presets — applied as a chain of peaking-biquad filters right in the engine.
Parametric EQ & AutoEQ import
Switch the equalizer into parametric mode for per-band type, frequency, Q and gain — and import an AutoEQ ParametricEQ.txt preset for your headphones in a single paste.
Convolution correction
Load an impulse response or correction profile and Veilamp convolves it into the output with partitioned FFT — for headphone or room correction, bypassable and shown in the signal path.
ReplayGain normalization
Match loudness by track or by album from embedded ReplayGain tags, with an adjustable preamp and clip prevention so nothing ever peaks.
Headphone crossfeed
Blend a low-passed slice of each channel into the other for a more natural, less fatiguing headphone stage — with an adjustable crossover and level.
TPDF dither
When digital volume or EQ truncates to 16-bit, optional triangular-PDF dither preserves low-level detail instead of letting quiet passages distort.
DSP bypass
One toggle drops all EQ and ReplayGain for a pure passthrough, so you can A/B the processed and untouched signal and hear exactly what your files hold.

Add a friend from a single paste. Your identity is a stable cryptographic keypair — no email, no account, no phone number.
Trust allowlist
Every browse and every stream request is checked against an explicit list of friends before a single byte leaves your machine.
Progressive streaming
Click a friend's track and it prebuffers a head start, then plays while the rest downloads ahead over concurrent private routes.
Selective sharing
Tracks are private by default. Mark exactly what friends may browse; everything else stays invisible to them.
Revocation & hardening
Removing a friend rotates your route so their access stops promptly. Anti-replay and per-friend rate limits guard the server.
Offline cache
Fully-streamed tracks and art are cached locally, so replays skip the network entirely.
